Finding a ministry coach in general can be difficult. Then, to find a coach who has expertise in the specific area that you need coaching can be even more difficult. Barnabis limits coaches to select up to three primary coaching niches. Narrowing the focus of expertise catagories helps coachees find the right coach for their needs.
Barnabis functions with a very basic and simple process of connecting ministry coaches with those who need coaching. Barabis is FREE to use. Coaches can create profiles to offer their coaching or ministry consultant services. Those needing coaching can search coaches with specific skills and connect with them. In this first iteration of Barnabis, it will allow you to get in touch directly with the coach. We are currently building out a function that will allow financial transactions between the coach and coachee. This will allow a safe and secure way for coaches to receive payment for their coaching services. It also will allow safety for the coachee to place money into escrow or request refunds in the event that the coach doesn’t fulfill their coaching services.

Coach profiles will be able to be searched by those looking for help in ministry. A key search function is to narrow by the specific ministry area of expertise. You can future narrow search results by location, coaching terms, keyword, remote coaching and more.
Direct communication within Barnabis is a way to keep track of conversations and opportunities for matching. Currently, all coaching contracts and agreements are handled outside of the platform. We are working to quickly add contracts and financial transactions to transpire within Barnabis for the ease, safety, and confidence of both the coach and coachee.
We believe Barnabis will unleash an army of coaches pouring into the next generation of leaders. We also believe that those coached through Barnabis will one day pass down their expertise by coaching others.

Barnabis was co-founded by Danny Parmelee and Dmytro Bondarenko. Danny is currently the Vice President of Converge MidAmerica, a non profit that serves pastors, leaders, and ministry staff. He has led growing organizations and staff teams for over 20 years. Having partnered with Dmytro on other software projects, they combined their experience to create Barnabis. Dmytro is an IT developer from Ukraine and has created multiple platforms for different organizations and companies. As an IT architect he masterfully creates digital solutions to maximize productivity.
